Located on the south-eastern foothills of Mount Kenya, the washing mill at Emu County sits at 1600 meters above sea level and is surrounded by rich, volcanic soil. Ndunduri Factory is a wet mill that processes coffee from about 400 small-holders in the area. Kenyan coffees are known for their complexity, aromatics, acidity, and pleasing, long-lasting aftertaste.
Wow, this is a super complex coffee! Look for a light-bodied and delicate cup with layered flavors of white flowers—like cherry blossom or lilac, along with currant, strawberry, and Jasmine. The acidity in this profile is similar to cherry lemonade and just pops on the palette. We are thrilled to offer this coffee to the club and can’t wait for your to brew a mug of this extraordinary coffee.

The mouthfeel is more than I'm used to with "lemonade" cups, which doesn't quite work for me but is certainly interesting. The beans seem extremely delicate: I had to back out my grind significantly and several times. The jasmine note certainly gives the coffee a tea-like quality. One to experiment with.

Rich and sweet with a milky mouthfeel and moderate complexity.
