This week's coffee comes from a beautiful high altitude farm in Santa Maria de Dota, Costa Rica and we couldn't be more excited. Costa Rican coffee producers take their trade very seriously, which is reflected in this week's crop. Grown on the Gamboa farm, Banderas Brizuela is the name of the specific lot that yielded these beans. Turned every 90 minutes while sun-drying, an unbelievable amount of care went into ensuring consistency from bean to bean, which accounts for this crop's rich flavor. Notes of citrus and cherry fill out the flavor profile, with a syrupy smooth body that makes each sip a decadent pleasure. We know it sounds like we're waxing poetic about this one, but it really is that good.
