El Socorro Pacamara
Crop Year: 2016
Origin: Palencia, Guatemala
Producers: Juan Diego De La Cerda
This coffee was lovingly grown by Juan Diego de la Cerda on his farm in the hills of Guatemala and processed at his own on-site wet mill. And let us tell you, if you haven't had the Pacamara varietal of coffee yet, you're in for a treat. A hybrid varietal celebrated in the coffee community for its hardy plants and uniquely layered flavors, Pacamara coffees tend to stand out from the crowd, and this one jumped out to us as soon as we tested it. It combines tart lemon flavors with caramel sweetness and a really creamy body for a truly unique experience. It's bright and acidic, but somehow also mellow and smooth at the same time. It's a puzzling and delicious combination that we can't get enough of, and we hope you enjoy it too!
