You can't beat a washed Kenyan coffee, and when we find one as good as Karindundu 112, we jump at the chance to share it with the club. Small-holder members of the Baragwi cooperative deliver their cherry crop to the Kanrindundu factory in Nyeri, where the cherries are sorted and processed. Since there are many coffee producers in the region, the Karindundu factory produces many lots at different grades and sizes, but we fell in love with this washed AA lot in particular thanks to its great balance of delicate flavors.

Karindundu 112 is a bright coffee, with a strong lime acidity giving the cup a nice kick. A smooth honey sweetness provides a counterpoint to the acidity, while a light floral jasmine note gives the cup a depth and nuance that makes every sip an adventure. Kenya is arguably the best in the world when it comes to washed coffees, and lots like Karindundu 112 contribute to that reputation. We hope you love it as much as we do!
