Worka Chelbesa is one of the finest coffee producing areas within the Gedeb Woreda. Known for its dense layered semi-forest vegetation structures of banana trees and shade grown coffee trees. Chelbesa is a great example of the best in coffee growing agroecology. Negusse Debela began investing in coffee washing stations in 2017 and exporting coffee through his company, SNAP. The company runs three coffee washing and processing stations and partners with three other stations in the region. SNAP recently invested in fermentation tanks at Chelbesa station. The fermentation tanks of the wet mill were built of ceramic which will help bring clarity in the coffee that they process as well as help fasten the fermentation through keeping heat inside.
We are tasting a well structured coffee with complex flavors–lightly fermented plums with the sweetness of concord grapes and shot through with floral notes. Cheers!

This is a very nice Ethiopian coffee, smooth and sweet and round. No particular flavor notes stood out for me, but it drinks beautifully.

Of all of the coffees I have received this one is by far the best and I hope I will receive more of the same or similar...I dont know why it is so much better. The description is right on and gives insight into the process, which can make the difference... More please!!!
