This is a new coffee for us from an exporter that we have worked with for a long time now. Long time members will recall when I visited the region of Tarqui (in Huila) to judge the Taruiq cup. On that trip I visited Huila for the first time and got to experience the diversity of flavors that comes from that great coffee region. This coffee is from the Acevedo a smaller part of Huila, Colombia. This origin is tucked away in the remote southern part of Huila. It's much more remote than even a remote part of Colombia and definitely lesser known, but has delicious coffee.

It's a pleasure to find these gems of coffee regions, and even more of a pleasure to roast them and enjoy them with the members of the club!

I hope you enjoy this coffee as much as I do.
