We're always fans of an Ethiopian Natural - and Ardi is a great example of why. This coffee's unique combination of sweet, fruity flavors is a result of Ethiopian heirloom beans processed to the highest standards. Over 300 drying tables are erected high on the hillsides of Sidama, where deep burgundy coffee cherries are spread out to dry in the sun. The coffee is turned by every thirty minutes over the entire drying time to make sure that a constant moisture level is achieved, and skilled workers continually pick out any defects to yield a coffee that's unparalled in flavor and quality. Ethiopia has been producing coffee longer than anywhere in the world, and it shows time and again that when it comes to flavor - there's no substitute for history.

This natural-processed coffee should hit you with fruity notes well before it lands in your mug. Upon opening the bag, you'll be met with an aromatic mix of strawberry and cherry notes that only get more intense when brewed. Natural processed coffees always have more dynamic flavors - and this reliable favorite from Sidama delivers on that reputation in a big way. Some people refer to coffees like these as "berry bombs" - and with how strong the fruit notes are we can certainly see how it might blow your mind. Give it a brew, and if you enjoy, be sure to rate the beans and leave a comment to let us know!

Marry Me Strawberry

It's uniquely aromatic as I open the bag. When I brew I am smashed in the face with a rush of juicy gas that reminds me of strawberry farm. The cup is fruity with sweet strawberry predominating and not as acidic. I've always sought for good ethiopian coffee and this one is unprecedented that beats all my expectation

Yup - this is why they call 'em "berry bombs" - super strong flavor right out the gate. Glad you enjoyed! We're always on the lookout for great naturals (my favorite process, personally) so stay tuned!

Delicious and loved the new packaging!

I got this in the new package and it worked well for us. Of course, the coffee was delicious and crisp.

Glad you liked it, Brad! The packaging is still very much in the works - but next time you see it, you can expect the same eco-friendly approach with more customary Moustache design flair! :)

Twists and Turns

A lovely, complex natural. As noted elsewhere, smells amazing. Great fruity notes, but has nice body in there as well. The melon manifested in a tea-like way to me (the good kind of tea-like). I was actually able to get some great V60 brews out of this bag, which is a brew method I tend to struggle with. It's great in my Aeropress as well, and the way the flavors evolve seems drastically different. I'm a natural processing convert now for sure!

Wow!

I love variety in the coffees I drink, but I would happily drink only this one for the rest of my life - so amazing!

Phenomenal!

I really wish I ordered more of this one because it is insanely good. Like almost all Ethiopian varietals, I grind much finer than I normally do and it ramps up the flavor without making it a bitter sludgefest. I seriously love this one!
