This coffee from Gora Kone is a delicious sweet example of one of the many flavor profiles I love from Ethiopia. It’s got a solid citrus lime pop rounded out by delicious Caramel and Cocoa. It’s a coffee that you can drink for breakfast and then drink all day. This coffee is produced in what I would consider the traditional Ethiopian way. 700 to 800 smallholders on farms averaging around 7 acres each handpick their coffee when it is ripe and bring it to the washing station. The coffee is then washed and the green is hand sorted multiple times to remove defects, which results in a delicious clean cup.

Has that wonderful warm cocoa, almost peanut butter candy, rich body. Great as pour over but really nice as an espresso in an iced latte with whole milk. Just a really great coffee.

This Gora Kone is a rich and chocolatey Ethiopian with a subtle acidic pop--lime is a good descriptor. It's fun to compare the taste profiles using different brewing methods. Moustache coffees rarely disappoint, and freshness always matters.
:D thanks Randall!
