More robust

This was the best coffee so far in my subscription. The prior coffees were too light less robust. I hope to receive more of this type.

Great

I've really been loving the columbian coffees over the african ones lately. Light and smooth finish and no aftertaste.

New favorite

Probably my favorite coffee in my subscription so far. Feel free to send it any time it's in stock--I just started my first bag and have already put another in my queue!

Who knew? Diner coffee is good! :)

The comment of "old-school diner" coffee had me in the description, along with the tasting reference to chocolate. Another roaster I value for their offerings describes their similar style roast as a really good "truck stop coffee". In past days, I would have snubbed my nose at trying "diner" or "truck stop" coffee, but from quality roasters it is a different story. The flavors of Villa Maria are smooth and approachable with a touch of acidity and citrus finish. Brewing and savoring each cup is a joy. I will take a shipment anytime it is available.
